The Board of the International Public Relations Association (IPRA), led by President Nataša Pavlović Bujas, has established a committee to develop ethical guidelines for using Artificial Intelligence (AI) in communications.

The members are: prof. dr Dejan Verčič, University of Ljubljana, Slovenia, prof. dr Flora Hung-Baesecke, University of Technology Sydney, Australia, dr Marko Selaković, S P Jain School of Global Management, UAE, prof. Dr. Yang (Alice) Cheng, NC State University, USA, Prof. Dr. Ana Tkalac Verčič, University of Zagreb, Croatia, Dr. Nikolina Ljepava, American University in the Emirates, UAE, Ms. Svetlana Stavreva, M.Sc., DipM, former President of IPRA and member of the Board of Directors of the International Public Relations Association.

"This is an outstanding example of collaboration between academia and practitioners in governing critically important aspects of our work. This collaboration goes beyond narrowing the gap between practice and academia: it is about working together to anticipate the future and set boundaries for the use of AI that apply globally", explains Nataša Pavlović Bujas.
