Swapping out plastic bottles for reusable glass is one of the main goals of Rotary Club Slovenia members who, together with their partners, seek to raise awareness of the importance of phasing out single-use plastic water bottles.
The Committee on the Environment, which operates within Rotary Club Slovenia, along with numerous partners, has designed an innovative
business model that combines environmental protection, care for people’s health, support for Slovenian companies and charitable actions. Along with the renowned glass company, Steklarna Hrastnik, they developed a bottle that would encourage more frequent consumption of clean drinking water, consistent care for the environment and the determination to keep Slovenia beautiful for future generations.
We, at Herman, are helping to bring their vision to the world with communication support for the project and media outreach in the form of a press conference held in mid-June.
For every two bottles purchased, customers receive two free ones, which they will be able to donate to others to expand this network of good deeds. In addition, a portion of the proceeds from sales goes to other charities. In the first year, 1 EUR for each bottle sold will be donated to the Slovenian Association of Lymphoma and Leukemia Patients.
You can join this movement at adijoplastenka.si and purchase bottles to support charities and the world.
