This year’s Slovenian Advertising Festival (SOF) featured a competition for young, creative teams of 2 people who had 24 hours to craft a solution to Triglav Insurance’s creative brief. The field included 3 teams from Herman, with Tereza and Matej making it to the shortlist of the TOP 10 finalists.  

“Making the TOP 10 is a huge confirmation that we are on the right track with our creative work. Our idea stood out from the other TOP 9 in that it seems quite simple at first glance. But its foundation was meticulously planned out, starting from our analysis of the problem and our excellent teamwork in 24 hours. We’re crazy happy with how we finished, especially since we didn’t expect to win on our first try,” remarked Herman employees Tereza Pikec, social media manager, and Matej Ferlič, junior digital designer.

“What should two non-designers start working on? UX design and 3D animation, of course. Sadly we didn’t manage to show that to the jury at the Triglav Lab, but we still had fun and came up with an idea that we can stand behind firmly. Next year it’s no mercy all the way to the end,” said last year’s finalists, Maruša Jug, social media manager, and Mitja Bergoč, junior content creator, on this year’s experience.

“This is the first time we teamed up and led our project the whole way from concept to development. We got to flex our creative muscles and put out a product that we were both proud of. The fact we didn’t make the TOP 10 is just extra motivation for next year,” asserted Matic Kosem, junior creative, and Urban Selič, junior digital designer, about their experience this year.
