Data is Money. But Has It Gone Too Far?

Everyone and their mother is talking about digitalisation and its impact on business (regardless of the industry). But it seems that, in our economic space, we are approaching this topic with too much restraint (some might even say conservatively) and without a strong vision. Digitalisation significantly affects the efficiency and speed of business processes, cost optimisation, improvement of planning and control processes and more.

In the second half of 2021, Slovenia will assume the Presidency of the Council of the European Union. Since 2009, the presiding countries have been collaborating in the so-called trios, and in this 18-month period, Slovenia will join Germany, which held the presidency in the second half of 2020, and Portugal, which holds the presidency in the first half of 2021. France will follow Slovenia as the head of the Council. 

Technology was long ago accepted by the masses, thanks to its speed, practicality and intuitiveness. Businessmen and communicators likewise found benefit in its reach, personalisation options and infallible measurability. This trend continued in 2020.
